Holiday Tour Dec 1 to 3

Hello Everybody!
I'm new to the disboards but I have to admit that I've been lurking for awhile. I have to say that I love the disboards and seem to be a tad bit addicted to it . My question is this. I will be arriving in disneyland on dec 1 and leaving dec 4. I was so excited to to do the christmas tour as this will be our first time there for christmas. I just got a message from Disney Vacation Planning and was told that they were not offering the tour from Dec 1 to the 3! Anybody have any problems like this? I thought the tour would be offered daily from nov 21 to jan 2009. Thanks for all your input!

I called last week to make reservations for the tour and just got a call this morning saying that there was a change in the schedule.

I haven't done the tour before but from my understanding you get a tour around the park with your guide telling you about christmas from around the world and you get to go on a couple of rides (I think Haunted Mansion and Its a small world) without waiting, a special pin, treats (like hot chocolate and a gingerbread cookie) and reserved seating for the christmas parade.
