Well the time has come to start planning this years holiday.
We are off to the wonderful world in May.
Staying at The Royal Emerald, at the Emerald Island resort. There will be 9 people staying in the villa. Both sets of parents, DW, DS (1) DD (6) and Brother In Law.
We visited Windsor Hills last April and really enjoyed the resort. We have only changed because we really needed an extra double room and Windsor Hills could not meet what we wanted. So we are off to Emerald Island this year so any advise will be more than welcome.

Now for the ticket dilema, it would be very easy to go and get what I think will be the best tickets but I just want to tell you what our rough plans are and hopefully you will either agree with what I think or give me fresh idea's.

We plan on visiting one of the Disney Theme Parks, Waterparks at least 8 times. Some times it would just be a early start at the waterpark, others will be a late night at Wishes or even the full day at multi parks. We also want to visit Sea World, Island of Adventures and Universal Studio's.

I know this sounds busy, but we also spend some great time around the villa pool just chilling.

Any help or advise will be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Neil

The villa looks fabulous, Neil. If you've already stayed at Windsor Hills, you'll already know the area and the back route into Disney.

I'm not the best person to give advice on tickets as we've been buying APs for years, so I'm really just giving this a bump for you. :thumbsup2

For the Disney tickets you can get a 7 day premium which gives you 7 days entry to the main parks including hopping plus 7 water park visits. These are £211 for Adults from Disney direct. These are valid for 14 days from first use. The 14 day ultimate is £221 (so only £10) and give you unlimited visits to all the Disney parks for 14 days - better if you want more flexiblity.

I know others have posted but Virgin Holidays have really good prices on tickets at the moment!

Seaworld have an offer on their site of getting an Adult ticket for child price but I am not sure how this compares to buying a felx ticket as we only do universal every few years.

Hi Neil

We are 10 going in May with 6 adults and 4 kids over 3 generations too and sounds like we had same issues as you.

We had different people wanting different parks so had to search out different ticket offers.

If you are not going again then the 7 day UK Premium tickets is good. If you have ever been a member of Virgin Frequent Club then give their number a call as you will get a 10% discount.

We chose the Universal 7 day 2 park ticket which I think is about £73 now and is good value as 1 day is about £56

If you just want a few days at Seaworld then buy tickets on Seaworld website as the 1 day tickets allow a 2nd day visit within 7 days I think and you cannot buy cheaper than their webiste.

I am sure others will come on and give you best prices for particular companies and do not be afraid of ordering from US as Viator for example can have discount codes that some on this board know of and you can print out the confirmation for Universal from them and take to Universal entrance to exchange.

Good luck and may see you out there.

What is the best price out there for the 14 Day ultimate ticket?
It seems much more expensive than what we paid last year.

Thanks

Neil

Unfortunatley due to the weakening pound all ticket prices have gone up :sad2:

The best price most people are finding for tickets are with Virgin Holidays and even they have put their prices up recently
