holiday parade vs. new 50th parade question

I may be coming down newxt december and wanted to see the new 50th anniversary parade, but am I correct that the only parade they will run then is the holiday parade and that they won't do one run of each. I know that is the case w. the current parade, butr I was wondering if anyone knew if they owuld change that for the new 50th parade?

<font color=navy>I expect that the 50th Anniversary parade won't officially start until May 2005. They may have soft runs before then, but I would think that they would run only the traditional holiday parade from Thanksgiving til New Years.

As for *next* year... Who really knows yet.. If the new parade is an amazing beyond amazing thing that could run twice a day you *could* see both run (like they did with MSEP and a daytime parade) if it turns out to be a Parade of the Stars or a Light Tragic then itll be the better of the two...

I have a lot of faith in Matt Ouimet and whatever he decides to do is okay by me..

sorry I wasn't more clear, but I meant for holiday season 05. Is there any precedent w. other duealing parades, as it doesn't sound like either parade is set up to be run at night.

Disneyland can run any parade day or night since they have plenty of lighting available above Main Street and throughout the parade route to do so.

As for which parade will run during holiday '05 and '06, I would expect the 50th anniversary parade to be the one of choice. I can't see them doing two different parades each day. I don't think they have the space anymore to stage all of the floats. Maybe they can add some elements of the holiday parade to the anniversary one.
