:( Uggh, now i have done it, I could not resist Priceline and have gotten this hotel for the day I arive prior to check in, Holiday Inn Select, T.G. Lee Blvd, 1 mile from the airport I Looked at the reviews and even though it is listed as a 3 *, posts other places suggest it should be a 2* I could cry :worried: Anyone stayed there recently, why was I so stupid ????

Do not despair...we stayed there 2 or 3 times several years ago and it was fine....actually way better than I expected. I got a 1 night there in January on a Priceline bid and after reading the very bad recent reviews I was a little (well ok...maybe a LOT) concerned!

But it was fine. It was a little more worn than I remembered...carpet was getting thin and the furniture was looking a little dated (not awful, just not brand new)...but it was very clean, I heard no noise at all (I read in 1 recent review that the airport noise was horrid). The bed was nice and comfy, the bathroom was immaculate. You might want to request a room with a king bed and sleeper sofa if this will accommodate your group since most of the complaints seemed to be in the double bed rooms. The sofa bed is OK (not great, but fine for the kids). The desk staff have always been efficient and helpful.

I won't say it is the nicest 3 star I have gotten on Priceline but it is far from the worst. I don't think I would be wild about spending an entire vacation here, but for a 1 night near the airport stay it is really fine!

I really appreciate your reply, and it is only one night, but who wants to start their vacation badly ! I'll let you know, thank you again, :goodvibes Nadine

It will be absolutely fine for one night. We stayed there last April the night before our flight and we liked it. It was clean, the rooms were average-sized, the pool area was fairly nice. Our room had a mini-fridge (can't remember if it had a microwave). It has a gift shop. Do you have a Holiday Inn Priority Card? My dh has one for business so they put us on the Executive floor which has a free Starbucks machine!
