Holiday Inn Nikki Bird ?

I have booked this hotel for $49.98 a March 29,2001 and for 5 nights. I haven't seen much feed back on this hotel could I please get some. I think this is a good rate since the week end we get there is Easter weekend but i really want to make sure it is a good hotel as I have 3 children.

I stayed there about 4 years ago. Then it was clean and nice with a fridge and microwave in our room. Now since then I have read some really bad reports on this site. Most are about ants and bugs in the room, and not so clean rooms. Hopefully someone who has just come back can help you out better than I did.

We spent one night there in February. Our room was very clean; it looked like it had been redone recently. When we were there the jacuzzi was hot and the pool heated. Our room was conveniently located on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was small - I was surprised at how small the bathroom was. We were very happy with the room and we both agreed we wouldn't mind staying there again. We have teens so for us its not a good hotel to stay at for more than one night.

We stayed there for 2 nights in February. The rooms were nice and clean. Ours had 2 fridges and a microwave. I didn't see any bugs or pests. The pool area was clean and heated. Our biggest problem is that upon check-out, the room rate we were charged was different from the one we reserved via the web site. I had copies of the confirmation, etc, but I'm still waiting on a rebate. Just a hint of advice, if you haven't done so yet, go to Hoiday Inn's web site and sign up for the priority club. We got preferred check-in, the option of extended check-out, a discount card for the restaurant, and a coupon book. Its free to register at http://www.priorityclub.com.
