Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Anaheim

Anyone stayed here? I'm wondering what the walk to the park is like. I don't ever trust what the hotel says. I know the desk clerk told me it's about a 10 min walk through downtown disney. Can anyone verify exactly how you get there and how long it really does take? We usually stay at the Hyatt Regency Orange County that's a little farther south and take the shuttle, so I've never actually ever been in downtown disney. Thanks!

If you are talking about the Holiday Inn on S Walnut St., I stayed there 2 years ago. We took the ART most of the time but once we left the park after 1am (because we were shopping on main st. after closing) and the ART was not running so we had to walk back. After about 12 hours walking in the parks, we were struggling to make it back. I think it took about 15 minutes. We walked through Downtown Disney and then through the DTD parking lot, came out on Magic Way and then we turned onto S Walnut St I think.

Just stayed there this past week. It is 1/2 mile from the far end of DTD (meaning you would have to walk through DTD as well to get to the park entrances), so that is what--probably another 10 minutes added on? Probably a good 20 minute walk if not more...

The ART shuttle runs every 20-35 minutes and that Holiday Inn is the first stop on their route 11. Totally worth it.
