My daughter and I stayed at HIFS for several days before heading over to Old Key West at WDW during our vacation this past August.
We had a kidsuite in Bldg 8--extremely close to the pool and not a long walk to the main building. The accomodations were fine, my daughter loved the pool, and we both enjoyed the evening activities--face painting, magic show or other entertainment, bingo, and Karaoke.
The breakfast buffet--included with the room rate--is another plus to others who have stayed here. However, I must confess, I thought the quality rather poor, but you will definitely find things--and of sufficent quantity to eat.
We had the Family Values package, which also included the dinner buffet--which generally gets low marks, but I found more acceptable items at the dinner buffet than breakfast, although we did not eat many dinners at the hotel.
HIFS is excellent value for the money and a terrific place for families. The accomodations are fine--clean and bright--but if you are looking for luxury, you will not find it here. Just my $.02.

My daughter (age 9) just added the bounce figure. She really liked HIFS.
