Has anyone stayed here at this hotel that opened up earlier this year? Do you recommend it? Thanks.

My fiancée and I stayed there in August. I've got it booked again for February.

I do have status with IHG so this plays into it a bit as I paid entirely with points in August (4 night stay) and I'll be doing points/cash in Feb (5 nights).

The hotel is new(ish) so things are still bright and shiny. We had a king suite room type which gives a little extra room with a pull out sofa. We didn't spend much time in the room, but it was plenty of room for us two and our luggage. Note that our room did not have a tub (shower only). The breakfast area is really large. The two elevators are kind of slow. The pool is open and looked nice (albeit small) - we did not swim. It was also a really nice and easy 12-15 minute walk to the DLR Plaza. One day I uber'd for the heck of it and it was $4.50 (not incl tip), but I was just curious - no need to really do that as the walk is a breeze.

Parking is pretty much valet only ($15+tax). They say there is self parking, but in reality there isn't (maybe 1 or 2 spots which were never available).

We did use the washer/dyer (there was only 1 ea. so luckily it was free when we needed it).

I'd absolutely recommend it. I didn't take any photos (like I usually do) because we were back to back to back in the park!

Any specific questions and I'll do my best to remember!

We are staying there next month and have read lots of great reviews of it!
