Holiday Inn Express Buffalo Airport

Good morning fellow Canadian DISers. Have any of you ever stayed at and left your car at the Holiday Inn Express across from the Buffalo Airport while on your WDW vacation? How is the service? Is the parking lot fairly safe to leave the car in?

We did, the car was still there when we landed.. and their service was excellent!

I can tell you when we get home. We are leaving on the 4th from Kitchener and staying at the HI Express and leaving the car there. The price was about $130 and that was for the room and the parking for 12 nights. I think that was a great price. They even said that if we have an ealy flight (we have a 6:10am) that they would have a bag of food for us in the morning.

I thought it was nice but $130 iuis a bit much. Clarion down the road is 1/2 the price.

We really like it-we used to stay at the Clarion but it just seems worn to me now that I have stayed at the HIExpress which is new, the beds are VERY comfortable, large,clean bathrooms with a cool large showerhead, the indoor pool is great(although the Clarion one is ok too) the warm cookies at check in, the little express bags of food for early flights, there is a little pay to play games room for the kids. I admit I am a clean freak and although the Clarion is clean, it is much older and doesn't feel clean. It was so worth it to me to be in a newer, cleaner place with exceptional service. Actually, my husband told his boss about it and now this is where all the people from his work stay when coming into and out of Buffalo! Enjoy your trip...

we stayed there almost a year ago (12/02/05) and loved the service they offered.
They even let me use their kitchen to heat up my babys bottle and gave me some milk and Cereal for the kids at bed time.
It is very clean!! the beds are nice and the bathroom was spotless.
The shuttle service to and from the airport was quick and very convienient.
We left our Car in their lot and during the week that we were gone they had some snowfall and when we got back our car was cleared of snow. I would say there were about 20 other cars there all with Ontario License plates there. I was a bit worried about leaving the car there since the lot is a bit removed from the hotel, but no worries!!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Your reviews on the service and parking helped us make our decision. We've booked the HIE for Christmas night. We're flying out on the 26th at 3:10pm so now we'll have a nice leisurely morning.

You'll be happy there. We've stayed there several times and used the extended parking while away. My son especially loves the heated indoor pool.
