Holiday Inn DTD or LBV Resort: which is better?

Planning on a 4 night trip to WDW this February, for just a quick, hopefully not-too-expensive trip to introduce our son to the parks! We really enjoyed a Holiday Inn stay this summer, so I thought I'd look for one at Disney. Has anyone been to both the DTD Holiday Inn and the Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista, and has an opinion about which is preferable?

I booked at DTD one for December just for convenience of being within walking distance of DTD and having Disney shuttles every 30 minutes.

Agree with this AND I will add that the HI LBV is more "off property" than the DTD one and the road to get to the HI LBV is REDICULOUS with Traffic at ALL times!

I would spend the extra bit and go with the HI DTD!
