I would appreciate any comments about this hotel. We have booked it for May but would like to hear opinions as we have heard some areas of it are better than others. Thanks.

We're staying there for two nights before our Wonder cruise so I'm anxious to hear any recent reports on this hotel as well. I've done a search and read some older reports before it became the Holiday Inn but would love to hear of anyone who's stayed since the change.

From what I have read, it's best to stay in the tower as opposed to the other building. I called the hotel a little while ago and they said that you cannot request a particular room this far in advance (we're going April 16) but if I want to be assured that we will indeed get a room in the tower I should call the day before so I just put a reminder to do so on my calendar. I really would love a room in the tower that overlooks the fireworks. We'll be eating at Ohana's the second night and will see the fireworks from there but the first night we'll just be at the hotel so hopefully this will all work out!

We've stayed in the Holiday Inn when it was the Courtyard several times. The hotel is nice. As I posted on another thread, it is nothing fancy. There is no theming :) But it is clean, the rooms are large, and the pool is nice.

The tower and the wing rooms are equally nice. I've stayed in both. The only reason I would try and get a tower room is the proximity to the elevators. The wing rooms tend to be quite a trek.

Hope this helps, and have a great trip :)
