I have read the great suggestion of walking from holiday inn to disney springs to take the busses to the parks. What is the walk like? Or would the walk be better from the Hilton to Disney springs since the Hilton is closer? Thanks.
It's a very short, enjoyable walk. It maybe took us 5-10 minutes to get to Disney Springs when we stayed there. The Hilton isn't THAT much closer, only one parking lot separates the two buildings. They have shuttles at the hotel too, but we didn't use them so I don't know if they would work for you.
There are NO buses to the parks from Disney Springs. If there were folks would park there, not the parks to save the $20. Distance between two hotels is negligible. Both hotels are serviced by the Disney Springs Park Bus shuttle system. It's a good system and I suggest you use that.
The "Disney Springs Hotel Shuttles" services (NOT Disney operated) only the DS hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd and go to the parks, or Disney Springs if you don't want to walk there. It is their own private shuttle system but much better than offsite hotels that usually only go to TTC or Epcot and you have to transfer. From their website - http://disneyspringshotels.com/disney-advantage/ Shuttle Service Enjoy shuttle service every 30 minutes to the Walt Disney World® Theme parks, Water parks, and other Disney attractions
Theme park guests are welcome to use any Disney Transportation options, including buses to/from Disney Springs. As HopperFan notes, the "catch" is that buses departing from Disney Springs only go to resorts. That said, you can opt to take a Disney bus back to Disney Springs in the late afternoon or evening. From the Disney website: "One-way bus service from the 4 Disney theme parks operates daily from 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM or 2 hours after theme parks close, whichever is earlier." Source: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/bus-transportation/ Keep in mind the Disney Springs bus area is not particularly convenient to the Disney Springs Hotels. You get dropped off in the middle (roughly where Planet Hollywood is) and would have to walk through both the Town Center and Marketplace sections to get to your hotel. In contrast, the shuttles for the hotels drop you off just a few dozen feet from hotel elevators at the Holiday Inn or Hilton Lake Buena Vista. Side note: Having stayed at both, the Holiday Inn Disney Springs Area is a much better hotel than the Hilton Lake Buena Vista.
Here is the printed information about transportation provided at check-in at one of the Disney Springs Hotels:
Where is C 11 & C 12 parking area's? I am not familiar with the MK parking general parking lot How do you get to MK from there?
That is the bus depot at the Ticket and Transportation Center. You will walk and take either the Monorail or Ferry Boat across to the Magic Kingdom.
