Holiday Brunch at 1900PF

I will be following this thread as well. I would be interested to find out of the characters are dressed for Christmas, or if it is the same group that does the regular breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh, and Alice in Wonderland).

My guess (emphasis on guess) is it's the breakfast gang myself. But I hadn't thought about changing outfits. Strange that it isn't mentioned beyond being "characters"
Maybe whoever wrote the article doesn't know

I will be disappointed if its the same characters as the regular breakfast. When its being billed as a "Holiday" brunch, I would like to see them add a festive flair to the standard line up.

Just made ours for 11/20. Looking forward to it! If anyone needs Thanksgiving, plenty of times avail for brunch. If it's like Capt's Grille, they'll have turkey and ham. Good combination!

I booked for Thanksgiving Day myself. Even without characters I thought it would be a good choice.

I just booked for thanksgiving day at 1245. I have a 520 that same night I will cancel if I can find out characters.

Mine is for 1:20 on Thanksgiving Day. I have several other ADR that day and will narrow down options closer to the trip.

I called Disney Dining to inquire about the brunch details (hoping specifically to find out about which characters to expect) and .... not surprisingly .... she had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently we on the Disboards get the news before the employees do :sad2:.

It looks like last year they did not include characters. However, the price was MUCH lower. So, perhaps it will be the same breakfast characters, but it would be nice if they were holiday themed. Perhaps, a Santa hat for Pooh. :)

Somebody on another board said they went last year & though it was not advertised as a character meal, the same characters from breakfast were at the brunch.

I just called about this meal, and here is what I was told (for which I take no responsibility for its accuracy!):
1900 Park Fare character brunch (but no information on which characters or their attire)
Nov 20-26
Dec 18-Jan 1
12:45-2:15pm
$39.41 adult/$23.43 child tax included, but not gratuity
1 TS credit

I also made an 11/20 res :)

We did this on Easter last year. It was the morning characters - Pooh and Tigger, Alice and Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. It was very good. We enjoyed the food and character interactions a lot.

Can you speak about the food? We are going for a breakfast for my DS3's birthday in Deember before the brunch starts on the 18th, but this sounds interesting, too. We could do both, but are they pretty much the same food? Any special festive items? Given that "brunch" does not start until 12:45pm, are there more lunch-y items?
ETA: Found a Touring Plans menu from 2015 that includes turkey and cornbread stuffing and New York strip loin. (And it includes prices that were $14 less for adults and $10 less for kids. Ouch.)

I am sorry I don't remember specifics about the food - just that we liked it - I remember breakfast and dinner type foods but we mostly ate breakfast foods. I remember a carving station but don't think they had turkey (was Easter). Pretty sure it was more roast beef and ham type meats. Also bacon and sausage. Sorry.

We booked for December 20th. I can't wait to hear reviews of those who will be attending this event over Thanksgiving.
