Holiday and Season of the Force Souvies

During HalloweenTime, we had a Halloween and Other Souvie update thread that helped fellow Dis'ers know when (and where) the various souvenir items were available. I won't be getting to the parks for a while, but hopefully others can chime in with souvenir items information (and photos). I'm guessing a lot of these items will debut on the 13th (Holiday) and 16th (Season of the Force).

From the various postings on social media it looks like there is going to be a new Premium Popcorn bucket for the holidays (Elf Mickey) and the Season of the Force (Tie Fighter). The Parks Blog also mentioned the Mickey Elf Stein (no photo). I'd also guess there will be a round popcorn bucket and travel mug. I wonder if they'll be another soup mug this year? For Season of the Force, I've seen photos of a BB-8 sipper and a Chewbacca stein.

On a semi-related note, the latest version of the Mickey Balloon Buckets appear to have undergone a little bit of a change from the ones originally released in May. There is now a banner that says "Disneyland" under Mickey and the dates (1955-2015). The drawing of Mickey has also changed a little.

I will be there Nov 20-21 and will definitely report back about souvies. We are a Star Wars family so we are excited about the new offerings! I am going solo though this time around, but DH and DS7 will come on our March trip, hope all the offerings will still be there. I am interested in seeing the Tie Fighter popcorn bucket, BB-8 sipper and Chewbacca stein! I'll have to search for those pictures online. Sounds like I'm going to have to bring an extra suitcase!

I also noticed the different balloon popcorn buckets they have now. I picked up one of the original ones at the 24-hour party. The one I got was a red one so I plan on putting LED lights inside it for the holidays

Yesterday the blue balloon was on Main St, red in FL and purple by HM. Star Wars will probably only be in TL.

I also saw SW Hannah Anderson PJs at Star Traders and some other holiday SW merch.

If you're in the park already, try stopping by the lemonade stand in Tomorrowland. They had the X-Wing and Millenium Falcon glow cubes in July there.

I don't know...I think it's going to depend on whether they've run out of the Elf Mickey popcorn buckets when you're there. It seemed like (with the Halloween bucket) that they had the balloons out when they were out of stock of the Halloween premium buckets. So, if they have the Mickey Elf, it might be harder to find the Mickey Balloons. If they've run out of the Mickey Elf, then the balloons will probably be easier to find.

Have they sold out of the Zero popcorn bucket? You mentioned seeing the purple balloon by HM and that used to be where Zero was sold. Or were they selling both at that stand?

Assuming they have them in stock, I think you stand a pretty good chance of getting one in February. Zero is/was usually only sold while Haunted Mansion Holiday was up and running (Sept to Jan). So assuming the historic pattern holds, they should be back to the non-seasonal souvie containers by February (well...early-January when the holidays end, but most likely they'll sell out of the seasonal ones well before the end of the season).

I didn't see Zero, but I wasn't looking for him either. The other carts each had one premium and one non-premium bucket. None of the ones I saw were holiday yet. They might not be out until the 13th. In TL they had Darth Vader, but that will probably change next week.

Thanks for sharing. My DS is going to be over the moon when he sees the tie fighter popcorn bucket. We leave for DLR in two weeks. Can't wait to check out all the SOF souvies.

Someone on Twitter just posted a picture of the round holiday bucket that's currently available in MK. It features Snow White and the Dwarves in a wintry scene...I wonder if DLR will get the same bucket.

The elf Mickey stein looks the head of elf Mickey popcorn bucket. They are available at a frozen lemonade stand in front of haunted mansion and we saw them at the fruit stand on Main Street and in adventure land. Those come with fruit for 10.99 and by haunted mansion it was 13.99.

We are here now. This is the Mickey stein. Also the balloon buckets are not available during this time. I also saw the zero dog house one at a cart in New Orleans square
