Trying to plan a family (extended) trip and would like to see DL at Christmas state. Meaning all the decorations just not at Christmas time. What is the earliest to see this? Trying to avoid holiday rates too. Is this possible??

Usally go to WDW but DL is closer to my family. Any help would be great! :thumbsup2

The Christmas celebration, including all the decorations, shows, parades, and fireworks, officially begins on November 16 and runs through January 6. During this time, the holiday parade and fireworks are shown *every* day. The first weekend is likely to be VERY busy, and of course Thanksgiving time will also be very crowded. If you can go the week after Thanksgiving it should be relatively slow.

It seems most of us are going second week of December, so unless you want to meet all of us and you can be flexible, if I were in your shoes I'd also choose first week of December and avoid weekends (that's me personally - you need weekends for extended hours and some of the entertainment.)
