Hold my umbrella while I find your poncho! A May 2012 TR-- NEW-FINALLY! 1/17; pg. 29

That was sweet of Kevin to take Reid to the arcade and the pool so you girls could get in a nap! :goodvibes

Like Kathy, your pictures of the girls walking hand in hand gave me a little lump in my throat! Just thinking back to our first trip with the boys and how little they were, and how big they are now - it's freakin' depressing! :rotfl:

oooohh! DTD on a Friday night = NOT A GOOD THING :headache:
I totally agree with you - spend the last bit of time in the parks if at all possible to soak up some last minute Disney Magic :thumbsup2

And I have to tell you I got a tear in my eye seeing the "before" and "after" picture. :goodvibes

Me too, Kathy, Me too! :)

I love your pictures of the girls walking hand in hand....I, as I'm sure you do, feel so blessed to have been able to see my child grow at WDW:goodvibes

It's wonderful to look back at the pictures and see all their changes. I hope one day I'm taking my grandchildren's pictures on those same streets! :):thumbsup2

I love the recreation of the old picture!
Hmm a fastpass... for Space Mountain??
Ohhhh confession time? Intriguing!

There's a funny there.....:lmao:

LOVE the then and now photos!! So sweet!

Thanks! :goodvibes

Aww, the past and present pictures are really good. I can imagine how touching it must have been to see how much your daughters have grown over the years.

I have some wonderful memories! :goodvibes

 the pictures of the girls walking hand in hand. I think there's a commerical there somewhere!!!

From your mouth to Disney's ears! ;)

Disney naps are the best! :thumbsup2

I completely agree! :)

I'm glad you got to spend your last night at the MK!!

It's my favorite way to spend my last evening in Disney World! :thumbsup2

Like you, we absolutely have to spend our last evening at WDW at the Magic Kingdom. It's a tradition! Speaking of tradition, I love your tradition of taking the girls holding hands on Main Street. It's so sweet!

Thanks! :goodvibes

Aww, not too depressing. Growing up's part of the process. I sure do enjoy looking at those old pictures though! :)

As much as possible! :)

Day 6, Part 3

So when I last updated in October, I left you with the promise of an embarrassing confession. Now here's an even more embarrassing part.........I can't remember what I was going to confess! :rotfl2: So, I will just try to finish up this trip report.

We headed to Space Mountain and pulled a fast pass.

The return time was for 9:30 p.m. We decided to do a couple of things around the area, so we went into Monsters Inc., and watched a show. NOW...I suddenly recall what I was about to confess--

I went on Stitch's Great Escape! :rolleyes1 Yes, there, I've said it! I rode this years ago when it was the alien encounter and hadn't been in there since. Reid kept saying that he wanted to ride it, so we just all went with him. It was as horrible as I remember!

Around this time, Kevin decided that he had to get back over to the hub to take some pictures of the Castle---the sun was setting, and the sky was beautiful!

While he was off capturing his pictures, we did what everyone else in Tomorrow Land was doing---having a dance party with Stitch!

Afterwards, we wandered over toward Fantasy Land and the kids rode the teacups, while Kevin and I sat and watched the fun.

We made our way to Pooh, and went through the cute, interactive queue (which was new since our previous trips).

After using up some time, it was finally time to use our FPs for Space Mountain.

We returned toward the Hub to watch "Wishes." This has to be the best way to end your trip at Disney. :goodvibes

Afterwards we rode Splash around 10:30, then had a little snack of popcorn (for me) and ice cream for the rest of the family. We thought about riding Space again, but the line was so long, we decided to skip it.

We headed out of the park around 11:45.

The monorail was not running, so we took a bus back to the Poly, and arrived there a little after midnight. We packed quickly, while the kids took showers. 6:30 a.m. would come all too soon for our drive back home.

After a week together, our family's tenth trip to the World was finished. Thanks for reading! Now...to begin planning another!

I love the pictures of the castle and of the dancing kids at Stitch's Dance Party! Oh your confession.....Stitch's Great Escape. Well, I happen to like it but John can't stand it so we usually go in every other trip. No ma'm I can't think of a better way to end a vacation than with Wishes!

Thanks, Lisa. :)

As far as Stitch's Great Escape...Oh, well. Reid had never ridden it, so now he can say that he has! ;)

Great finish! I really enjoyed reading your TR and I can't wait to hear when you are going back and that we have another one of your TR's to enjoy!!!

Welcome back to finish your TR!

Those are some beautiful night time pictures, especially with the sun setting.

What a great way to spend your last night.

So now we are ready for some details on the next trip.

Great way to conclude a WDW trip. (Well, maybe not stitch, but that can be overlooked.:rotfl:) Sounds like everyone enjoyed their last night together and that, overall, it was a fun trip. :goodvibes

Great castle/sky pictures!

Love the ones of the kids laughing on Teacups. That's the Disney magic, right there. pixiedust:

Planning the next trip? Absolutely! ::yes::

They are great shots of the castle. Think you should sell them to Disney!:thumbsup2

Hope you are planning a trip for the not too distant future.
