Hojos $59 Entertainment rate

Ok, I have read about peole getting a $59 Hojos Entertainment rate in quite a few threads now. Can I ask what time of year that rate is available? Hubby called about the Entertainment rate for the end of March and was quoted $118. Just wondering if the $59 rate was only available in less busy times or if it had anything to do with we have 5 people? Thanks

It's actually offered year round, but only a select number of rooms are available for each date. Did your husband call the (800) number out of the book? If so, they won't be able to offer this rate. You need to call the Hojo Anaheim directly and ask for in house reservations. Or you can email Lorealle, who is a huge help! Lorealle.Bishop@hojoanaheim.com

im not the best on this topic but from what i understand 59 standered room entertainment rates are only availbule on sertion days. I have though about getting it or the 79doller rate for my trip but I decied not to stay hojos becouse the distinces and a hot tub bath. at desert inn.

But I think I may try to plan my next trip in dec09 there and plan around the entertainment rate.
Its on there website some where but i didnt save it
The book is the entertainment book for 10 or 20 dollers and then you show the card when you check in from what i heard you dont have to have the book at check in

I don't believe all the 2009 ent. rate dates have been released yet, only some January dates. Here's a link to the 2008 dates that are avail.

I was able to get it for late April (didn't end up staying there) I have it for early Sept. (won't be going ~ need to cancel) and for the 1st 2 weeks of Dec. (going to cancel the 1st week since we'll be there 12/8~12/11).

Even if you do not see your dates, you can call the hotel directly, and ask about your preferred dates, and rooms, it is possible, that the dates will be available at that time, and making a reservation would be a good idea, that way you do not have to worry about losing your dates.
You do not need the entertainment card, at the time of making reservations or booking, but rather you shall need it, when checking in.
last time I saw, which was not long ago, you can receive a 2008 book for free by making a pre-purchase, of their 2009 book.

You really need to make sure you are talking to their in house people. I called the Anaheim # when I booked and was able to book the rate no problem. I called back a while later to change my res and didn't realize that I got transferred to central reservations. The man was very nice, but had real difficulties with the rate. I finally realized he wasn't in Anaheim and he transferred me there. When I spoke to who I assume was Lorealle, she helped me immediately and even asked about my preferences for rooms.
