We are at the Howard Johnson in Detroit by the airport, got a great deal with 10 days parking 89.95. Now I know why, NASTY!!!, I'm afraid to let the kids touch anything, and we have to follow the shuttle to the long term parking in the morning!!, what's the point???? DO not stay here, pay a little extra and get something nice!!! DS just asked for a bath, NOWAY!!

Thanks for the info. We fly out Sat morning, and are planning on just leaving in middle of night for the airport. However, if the weather looks bad, I'll be looking for a park'n'fly ... will definitely remember to NOT go to HoJo's.

We did Best Western in 2007 ...definitely "old and worn", but I didn't have a concern about using the shower or bathtub, so clearly better than where you are right now!
