Using the SD50 promo code ~ I've looked (one night at a time) @ 12/1-12/11 and every weekday is available.

They took off the days on Hojo message board. I booked for December 1 through the 4th and I only got the Ent Card Rate for the night of the 1st and the 3rd, but now checking the 2nd is available too!! Yay!!! That saves me like $40!!!

That is why it is a good idea to check the availability often for the EC rate. Does not hurt to use the SD50 at times as well. In addition, it is a very good idea to call In-house reservations, and ask about current availability.

Someone on the WDW board mentioned that.

That, plus the conventions, plus the Candlelight Processional have made the hotel situation UGLY that weekend I accidentally set our impromptu trip for.

But then, just today the early dates mentioned in this post showed up on the hojo forum, which means that the days leading up to the 5th aren't horrible, so I'm still holding out hope!

I really do not want to stay at the Motel 6. I've heard decent things about it, but on the other hand, there are some icky recent reviews. But right now it's the only game in town that is at a low enough price that doesn't make me think "ach, just book another PPH night at the AP7 rate!"
