There is rumor on another site that says during peak times, each guest will only allowed to ride Hogwarts express once per day. I don't know if that's round trip?

No one knows anything yet, as the area isn't open.

No point worrying about rumours!

Yes... I've read that in another forum...:furious:

Just means you would have to stand in line again to ride back to allow others on

During peak times, I can see that being a rule. You can only fit so many people on the train, and everyone deserves a chance to ride it if they've paid for the Hopper.

I suspect peak times this year are going to be epic, with way too many people wanting a ride.

Yup, I think the once in peak times is a good idea too when a ride has limited capacity like this one will.

i go early october so assume that with the crowds down from summer levels, it could go either way for HE.

i have a decent number of days to hit the new section so i have no concern of the limitation if it is continued to the lower season.

I think once a day is stupid. The Disney train you can ride as much as you want. I get it's hogwarts train. But if my child or I paid to stay at a deluxe hotel and get in the park we should be able to ride as much as we want. Once a day and not even round trip is just a waste of the train.

My suspicion with this ride is that you are going to have to "book" a ticket. That will give you a time to come back and ride it. Otherwise, since the ride only has a capacity of 1200 riders per hour each way, people would be lined up for hours to ride the thing.

The hotels have a total capacity of around 4400 rooms. That alone could potentially fill up the train for 10 hours. It will be crazy busy even with the restrictions.

That would be awesome!!!

Hmm. I was under the impression the "view" changed depending in which direction you were going. Implying you had to ride it each direction to see everything. So it would suck to be tied to one way.

I suspect these are just rumors though. It's a slow loading ride sure but it's still a ride and I suspect the line will just be long.

It's what the TMs are being told during training.

I really like the thought of different views each way. This would kind of make it seem like two different rides. Even if I only get a one way ticket each day it would just leave something to look forward to next day or next trip.

Although our family spends more time at UO than at WDW, I think it is opposite for many others. So many people that post on the DIS spend the majority of their time at WDW and just make a day trip to UO. There are going to be a lot of seriously disappointed and/or angry people if it is true that you can only ride one way per day.

Hopefully "peak" times are few and far between so that more often than not people will be able to go in both directions on any given day.

This won't effect me to much because we are planning multiple days at Universal, but I can see how it will cause a lot of people to be angry and complain.

I also would suspect that due to the low capacity the HE would have most people would only have time to do one ride on the train during peak times anyway unless they want to spend the entire day on line.

This doesnt really bother us.We stay several days at Universal.I understand that for the vast majority they see Unviersal as an ADD ON to a Disney trip and for them it is going to be unfair, but it is what it is.Universal is no longer content with being an add on .They are becoming ( and for many ,have been for awhile) a multi-day destination trip.

Well maybe it will be that you can only RESERVE one ride per day but you can wait in a standby line however many times a day you want and they'll have two lines...one for reservations and one for standby.
