I just want to add to #7. The resorts are great places to meet characters dressed for the holidays! We saw Scroodge McDuck and he is only out for the holidays!
We never waited in a line longer than maybe 3 or 4 people either.

OK - I know I've been away for a while but OMG!!!!

First, I've been thinking about you guys when I'm listening to the news and they say how much snow you've been getting. The whole time feeling sorry for you and BAM - YOU WENT TO DISNEY AGAIN!!!!!

The snow pictures are BEAUTIFUL. We don't know how to act when its cold outside and by cold I mean 50 or slightly below. We stay inside and keep the kids in. It was great to see your kids enjoying the snow!

I cannot believe you guys skipped back down to Disney!!!! YOU LUCKY DOG!!!! I was jealous before with the cruise so close but now....man!

I'm glad you guys got to escape the snow and I know you are really close to your cruise to escape again. Good luck with the packing/planning. I hope you didn't pick up the suitcases. I would just leave them out and start packing. Have fun!!!

You make me laugh! Yeah I know, CRAZY, huh??!!! When the going gets tough, the tough (or weak I guess!) Go to Disney!!!! Ah well a few of life's most memorable moments!!!!
Oh I have complete outdoor kids. They love being couch potatoes, dont get me wrong, but outside, they love it. I am amazed how long they will hang out when it is snowing! BUT I am not going to complain. And yeah, I dumped the clothes, washed everything, and now the suitcases are on the floor ready to roll! Thanks for the well wishes!

I agree. We saw goofy and i think pluto at one of the resorts. but we saw them as they were leaving. But good tips Happydog.

Well here it is! OR here is where it WILL be! The official start to my TR for my December 2009 Christmas trip!!!

So about this time last year, we made the plan to go to Disney for a “do over” trip. If you need more background or want the details, see my June PTR posted below! That "do over" was wonderful, but as we were planning for it, my DH fell apon a Christmas at Disney reservation at the Beach Club Villas and so before we had even been on our "do over" trip, we were planning a Christmas trip as well!!!

Indeed it was sometime in January or February… while I can’t recall the exact dates, I do know that if I knew THEN, that I would be sitting here NOW, typing away, jovially preparing a “report” of a Christmas trip to Disney, I would have laughed myself silly. Really. Me? Going to Disney for Christmas? You got to be kidding! Never would I ever have thought I would be making that sort of trip. But in a little over a year and a half, I have made 5 trips to WDW. I still can’t get my head around this truth. For some, this is probably the norm. I KNOW that this is the norm for some on the DIS! But for someone like me, who never really fancied herself a “Disney fanatic”, it is pretty amazing that I have fallen head over heels into the world of Disney. I know it has a lot to do with my kids… but it has a lot to do with the kid in ME, as well… And fortunately my DH seems to be fine with it, he likes Disney for much of the same reason I do. He has been as much the planner as I have -- he is the navigator and logistical planner (with the pocketbook!! ) And so I feel pretty confident that we will continue to visit. Now, maybe not as OFTEN as this past year , but if booking for this summer and the following summer already are any indication , I am sure he will surprise me with one more visit between ... A few days ago he even mentioned Christmas in San Diego next year… and well… you know what is right up the freeway, don’t you???

Okay, enough jabber. ON with the SHOW!.... (Gee, it isn’t like I have been to Disney Hollywood Studios or anything lately, right!!??)

Wow, really a sweet family you have.I am dreaming of going to the disneyland for a longer time, but never go there. I think if i can take a chance, i will definitely go there to spend a whole month there. No work, no trouble, just playing freely.
