HM Holiday and IASW Holiday- early Jan

So what do you guys think... is it pretty set in stone that these attractions will be closed by January 6?

I've never seen HM Holiday and am dying to!

But on the upside, in my four previous trips to Disneyland, I've never managed to see normal Space Mountain (3x closed and 1x that weird rock 'n roll overlay), and I think I will actually manage to (knock wood) this time.

I think it is pretty much set in stone. That is why we are going on Jan.2. Never seen that stuff before.

I was just over on Mice Age and saw pictures of the "new" lighting they are applying to IASWH. I HOPE they bring the "old" holiday lighting back! While this new lighting is pretty, it is not what it was for 2000 - 2007. I am hoping that fabulous lighting of the last seven years will be back on IASWH this week. What they have on there now is kind of a dark blue/purple, and not nearly as stunning as what it usually is during the holidays!

P.S. The Castle - Main Street holiday "light show" that is coming this week sounds amazing!

I think they are, Sherry! I think because the tarps are down they just have that color lights over it until November 21st when it's "officially" Holiday Time. I saw pictures that they have the LED lights already on the facade, and those lights weren't on when it's night time. They have those colored spot light things that you're talking about.

I hope so! That would be a real shame if they don't bring back all those colored lights! That is 50% of the reason to see IASWH!

Same here! It's beautiful!! I want to watch the fireworks from IASWH this year!
