I only have a little over a week to decide if we are driving or flying - and if we drive it shortens our stay which I won't beable to do without penalty in about 12 days..

NO !! I did not see the thread but saw the price at the SW website. Thanks though !! Unfortunately, my dates are the insane pricing..either $189 going down for the day I want (11/21) or $137 for Thanksgiving Day. I can get the $79 fare coming back but it still isn't financially worth since we can drive down for considerably less than $1155 !! We usually drive nonstop and get there in 19 hours. But we would prefer to fly since you never can tell with the crazy weather !

Still no DING this morning! Is there any other airline out of NYC area that goes to MCO?? I tried JetBlue, Song (which is gone now) and the "usuals" which are insanely high. Can't find anything else resonable out of Macarthur. I give up !!

This is really weird, especially after some days with more than one ding/day!!!

It seems that the Dings come out a couple months before the date of the flight - is that right? So, if I want something for January, I should be watching for it some time in, like, November-ish?

But it's pretty funny to read a thread full of people (like me) who are all like, where is the Ding??

Maybe Southwest is just trying to drive us all nuts!!
