Historical ticket deals?

I understand that Universal is offering the buy two days, get three extra days free, plus a kids free ticket as well this well. Awesome DEAL.

We are hoping to come to Universal in December 2007 and am wondering based on the current deal (mentioned above) as well as deals that may have been offered in the past few years, what are my chances of a similar deal for 2007?

We are hoping to spend at least 4 days in the 2 parks and am wondering if the least expensive way to do this is to purchase a power pass? Unless there are great deals (like the one above) offered most years?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I know that the buy the 2 day 2 park ticket get 3 extra days free deal was available both 2005 and 2004.
I don't know about the free child's ticket.

Also, there has been a deal where if you buy 4 of the 2 day 2 park tickets - getting the 3 bonus days - with a Mastercard then you get a fifth ticket free.

I just got my tickets. For about $425 ($399 + tax) my family of 5 has 5 consecutive days of admission to both parks. A little better than Disney wouldn't you say? (We are going to WDW after Universal and I am afraid to add up how much those tickets will be.)

For the record, my 3 teenagers now prefer Universal and the RPH. We are going to WDW for their cousins.

Good morning!
I know that the deal advertised now runs out December 27! We booked about a month ago for December 27-30 and were able to get in on the deal for the entire length of stay. Our travel agent, who works with Mouse Ears Vacations, assured us that the deal applies because our vacation starts on the 27th. Every year there is a great deal so you will have to wait and see! Good luck! We can't wait! Our daughter was 2 when we took our first trip to UO and now she is almost 8 and we have a 1 year old son!
