Can anyone give me an idea of what the historical hours are in October for a weekday? Does Universal close early on nights there is HHN?

Thanks for the help :).

The normal Studio hours are 9-6 but on nights when HHN is staged, the Studios will close at 5pm for set up. IOA will stay open until 7pm most nights.

Thank you both! That was very helpful and I had no idea you could go backwards on the calendar :thumbsup2. Learn something new everyday.

I was trying to work out what dates Halloween Horror nights might be, so this was really useful. Although still non the wiser as to what dates they may run. I am trying to avoid rather than go to them by the way.

Based on past event history, 2012 dates should be:

September 9/21 - 9/22 and 9/27 - 9/30

October 10/4 - 10/7, 10/11 - 10/14, 10/17 - 21, 10/24 - 10/28 and 10/31.

Each of those nights the Studios will close at 5pm.

We're planning a trip Oct 24- 28. t looks like we'll be there for HHN...that"s OK with us. Our last visit was 4 years ago. We wanted to do HHN then, but decided to wait till our son was a little older. This year he'll be 18--perfect.

I have a question about HHN to the people who go every year...What tickets should we get? We'll be there wed-sun and I know the parks will close early due to set up so should we get an HHN ticket for each night or would a couple of nights be enough? We are also thinking about the RIP tour tickets. I'm wondering how we'll spend our time if the parks close at 5 and we don't go back for HHN? Is is warm enough in late Oct to enjoy the pool?

sorry if this is the wrong place for this question...thanks for the info!

the hhn dates and tickets haven't been released yet so we really don't know at this time.

in the past years, there have been passes for certain time periods, and non peak nights, etc.

wed, thu, sun would be the non peak nights for hhn, fri/sat would be peak nights.

peak nights cost more for the tickets and have longer hours for hhn.

the studos will close at 5 on hhn nights, but you could go to ioa until it closes at 7:00.
then hit city walk for dinner.

i've been doing rip tours for many years.
already planning for this years tour...

can't help you with the weather.
a couple of years ago coats were needed at the end of october.
some peeps do the hotel pools no matter what the temps are.
