Hints on finding last minute low price fare for March Break?

We are flying to Orlando for March Break - flying out of Syracuse (cheaper than Ottawa) - We got our tickets out of Syracuse on March 8 - coming back March 19. Now some friends are joining us and they are looking for tickets, which are all higher now. Any hints on finding cheap airfare at this late date?

Last year around the 21st of January Jetblue had a huge sale I guess to fill up empty seats. We were able to bring out DD and our two GC down to spend a week with us for March Break for $69.00 each way. Maybe they will have a similar sale this year,
I would say use Kayak or Sidestep daily to check flight prices.
