Hint about the flower and garden festival

It just accured to me today as I was repotting a plant in my Mickey planter that I should share something I found out about the Flower and Garden Festival last year. If you are going to be in WDW around the end dates of the festival, I believe June 11th. Make a point of going to EPCOT on the last day. I accidently ended up there last year and stumbled onto the fact that all the festival stuff was on sale. I mean good sale 50-75% off. It was our last day in the world and I was looking for gifts to take home. I wish I had more time to think and spend or else I would have bought a lot more. We even had our Van! Oh well. I hope this gives someone the heads up.

I was there on the tenth(next to the last day) and the F&G stuff was 50% off-I picked up some items that I had debated buying at full price.The merchandise had been moved to where the "art Sale"-type event was going on inside- not at the outside booths.

I'll be there at the end of the F&G festival. However, I don't really know what all the festival includes. Are there extra things during those days? Also, what type of items do they have on sale? If it's something big, how do you transport it home? (we are flying.)

We noticed the same last Fall at the end of the Food & Wine festival....Merchandise (except the wines of course) was much discounted.

I didn't know that. Thank you, we actually were going to skip Epcot on Sunday, the Flower Show's last day, but now we won't!
