Hilton on International Drive?

I am spending time in Orlando the first weekend in March. I'm in town for a wedding but will hopefully get my Disney fix while I'm there! My question is whether anyone is familiar with the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on International Drive. The reviews look good but I'm a bundle of nerves about trying something new. Any info you have would be appreciated!

it is behind the premium outlet - so if you love to shop - you will love it.

across the street is the mall with Publix. there is a MacDonalds also.

Its beautiful and a gorgeous pool. The only complaint I have heard is that the internet doesn't work in the rooms. Have a great time!!

That' s typical Hilton. I stay there all the time for work and Hilton tends to have very spotty internet. It's strange because their lower tier hotels like Hampton Inn do a great job with it.

It is by far one of the best places you will ever stay! We have stayed there many times and everytime it has been wonderful! We have never had a room where the internet did not work.

Thanks to everyone who replied! Its comforting that nobody who posted had a negative experience!! Its getting down to crunch time so I've got to make a decision. This is the first time my husband and I have had a weekend away w/out the kids in over 7 years, so I want it to be nice!

Is there a particular building that is better than the others?

they are currently refurbishing buildings 1 and 2 and any of the buildings are great...

It just depends whether you want to be close to the main pool or the quiet pool. Its a fairly small resort though so nothing is very far away...

Of all the places we have stayed at.. HGVC i drive is one of the nicest and we have never had any internet problems either!
