We have never stayed at Disney before so I'm having a hard time figuring out the logistics of all these resorts.

We are considering staying at Hilton Head but I can't seem to figure out how to get to Disney from there. Do we have to drive and park? Is there a bus, get to the monorail somehow??

Do you mean WDW in Orlando? There is no Disney park at Hilton Head. Orlando is about 5 - 6 hours from Hilton Head.

Hilton Head Island is in South Carolina - about a 5 hour drive from Orlando. The closest airport is Savannah (Ga) about 1 hour away.

Our family lives in New Jersey. In the years we go to HHI (every other summer) - we drive to WDW for our week of fun, then stop at HHI on the way home for 5-6 days of sure summer relaxation. Its just wonderful!

You do have to drive yourself, no bus or WDW transportation.
