At HHI Resort what building number has the best views of the marsh? Any recommended specific room numbers for a 2 bedroom?

How much does it cost to rent fishing equipment at the resort? Any decent fish catchable there?

I stayed in a 2 bedroom there (1411) and my porch had an excellent view of the marsh! not sure about the fishing equipment though.

Our view from building 18. Beautiful view. Friends stayed in building 31, and that was great-they saw dolphins there. Not so "marshy" though. Sorry, no help with fishing though.

Crab nets were $5 and I'm thinking fishing gear was $25 for a 24 hour rental, but do not quote me on that!! We only saw one family fishing our first night there and they didn't look to be having a ton of success.

Side note I was sure I wanted a marsh view when we booked and requested it. We were blessed with an upgrade from a 1 BR to a 2 BR upon check in and was placed in building 25 by the pool. My kids loved it!! We could watch them in the pool from our porch, it was super close to go for drink refills or to rent movies. Just thought I would throw that out there in case you have kiddos who might be interested in the pool.

LOVED our marsh view 2BR dedicated building 31 room 3122, top floor of two story building. :thumbsup2:cheer2:SO PEACEFUL and RELAXING!:Pinkbounc

Another side note, the marina next to the resort has all sorts and sizes of charter boats for fishing, not sure about the cost but I'm sure you could find them online and give them a call regarding pricing. My experience on vacation has been if you really want to actually catch fish charter with a local captain.

Can you bring your own fishing equipment, and does anyone know if you need a permit or license to fish? TIA

We are staying at HHI in July 2018. Which buildings have 2 bedroom villas on the top floor?
