[COACHSTING]

We have our home points at BCV and are thinking about taking some time to go the HH. Since they are now reportedly sold out, what would be our chances of getting a reservation on our points there say in August?

Also, can an HH expert give us some advise on room locations? Can you see the water from any buildings, specific rooms, etc. I think we would be looking at a one bedroom villa.

Since the summer months are popular at HH it is difficult to get at 7 months. Also the size unit makes a difference. Since there are more 2BR than anything else they are easier to get. Regardless, the only way to know, is to call and see if anything is available. As far as a water view, we own at HH and always request a marsh view. Give MS a call, and good luck.

When you ask about whether or not you can see the water, you do know that the resort itself is not on the beach. The water at the resort is the marsh (Broad Creek) and the Shelter Cove Marina. A lot of people think this is a negative, but it's actually very beautiful and I'm sure you'll be pleased with whatever view you get.

As for the 1BRs, most of them are in the main lodge building, and would have a marsh view.

August is still a busy time at HH, but you may be successful getting a room during that time within the 7 month priority. 1BR and Studios are usually the first to fill up, just because there are so few of each. You will get a listing of the restaurants on the island when you check in- the list is available at many locations around the island.
