Just Great.:cool1: Facilities, Kids programs, different size rooms, 10 minutes from DD, Pools and grounds remind me of the PR and CBR. We are 12 time Disney on site family, we still love it:love:, but the Tuscany is great for larger families:dance3: and reunions (food for one, there is a Publix across the road) and outside the park activities. Going back this year:yay:. Have Fun.

Thanks for the review!! We'll be staying there in April in a 2 bedroom unit. Can't wait, sounds great! :yay:

Hi,
I've posted same on another link but hope that you can also give me some advice. We are staying there for one week in November and was wondering if you'd kindly let us know how reliable the bus service is and what there is to do for a 7 & 5 year old...

Thank you!!!

You'll have a Great time. Bus schedule to the park is limited. :confused3 I believe they have one ride to the park and one home, usually early morning and late afternoon (around 5-6). You are better off having a car and driving into the parks or parking at downtown Disney and taking a bus to any of the parks.:thumbsup2 There is a commuter bus that leaves from the adjacent mall and will bring you all the way to the end of International Drive.

The Mall next door is a trip in itself, unbelievable stores (not so much for the kids), but fun with them as an adventure.

The HGV Tuscany is just wonderful, When we were there last Oct 2 there was an activity every day for kids out by the pool. There is a playground .(Smalll by building one)and a grill next to the playground if you want to have your own cookout, and of course the huge pool where you could stay all day if you choose to. (We bought our own pool inflatables across the street at the Publix....:dance3:so convenient for all food and supplies).

You'll have a great time, because you will be staying at a wonderful place. Just make plans to visit attractions ahead of time, pick your days and plan down and rest days also.:grouphug:

Thanks for the info! :cheer2:We are staying there next Feb 2011 with a then 3 and 6 yr old.
Curious if the bus was an extra fee or included in stay? Too bad only 1 trip back and forth..we were hoping to not have to rent a car.

Any other advice you can share is greatly appreciated! This will be our 1st Disney trip and I'm thinking about booking 2 nights on site (Poly?) just to get to MK quickly. Should we stay onsite first or last 2 days?:confused3

I don't believe there is a charge for the shuttle from the Hilton, I'm not sure we did have a car. The Hilton does have a service that will stock your condo, you might have to call ahead and arrange for it if you don't have a ride across the road to publix. (Let the old man make the run for you).

As far as staying at Disney, the Polynesian in my opinion is the best of the best. If I were to split the vacation I would stay there first. You will get all the enjoyment and excitement and be able to rest when you go off site. Also if you think you want more after leaving on site, you could always go back. Have fun.
