Hi all! Thanks to all for my primary source of reading for the past two weeks. I am definitely converted from thinking this trip was going to be a play it by ear event to having a pretty good plan in place thanks to you all!!

So, we arrive late on 5/29 (Saturday night) and stay at the new Hilton Bonnet Creek. We have a car service taking us (me, DW, DD2, DD6) to the Hilton. Question is, how do we get to the GF on Sunday? The car service is picking us up with a booster and a car seat. Will any taxi's be equipped to safely transport the loves of my life? Any recommendations for the safest, least hassle way for this short trip?

Do the Bonnet Creek resorts have a park shuttle? (I kinda' think they do.)

Take their shuttle to Magic Kingdom (you'll be dropped off near the parking lot concourse aka TTC) and then take the resort monorail to Grand Floridian.

The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf Astoria Orlando provide free scheduled bus service to the major Disney theme parks for hotel guests. The same bus can stop at several parks, so it can be a long ride.

If you take the bus to the TTC, you can take the Resort Monorail to the Grand Floridian.

A taxi cab would be faster, if you don't mind spending the money.

I would take your car seat and booster from home. The car seats in town cars and taxis are often filthy and sometimes unsafe.

Just a question: how are you planning on traveling during the rest of your vacation? Will you be relying on the hotel shuttle to travel back and forth from the parks, or will you be taking taxis all the time? I only ask because the busses do not have car seats, (they don't even have seat belts), and I'm not sure taxis carry car seats with them at all times.

Apologies for not being clear in my orig post. We're just staying at the Hilton for the first night. The rest of our Disney trip will be spent at the Grand Floridian. Thanks!

Have you priced staying at the grand Floridian that first night as well? Once you add in the town car to get to Bonnet creek and the cab to get to GF, I wonder how much you are really saving by not staying at GF the first night.

Excellent point. I have a certificate for a free Hilton night and the airfare on Sat night saves us $160 vs coming on Sunday (our original plan - we've got a family wedding Sat afternoon). So, even with the free night, the airfare savings is being used up for transportation vs a free trip Sunday am on DME. My head is spinning trying to put this all together. Luckily, I'm enjoying it all!!

To get your luggage from the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek to Disney's Grand Floridian, plan to take a cab.

Taking the Hilton/Waldorf Bonnet Creek bus to the TTC and then dragging all your luggage onto the Monorail is not really an option. It becomes even less of an option with young children who can't carry their own bags.

You aren't allowed to bring luggage onto the monorail or Disney buses at all.
