Dang - all dates from May 12 to May 19 seem to be sold out. I had been watching this so closely and then got discouraged and missed the window.

Time will tell. Since you will escorted by a CM to a private monorail car the group might be allowed by bypass the security checks.

Time will tell. Since you will escorted by a CM to a private monorail car the group might be allowed by bypass the security checks.

While it would be a real pain to go through security multiple times for a single event, I actually hope they do require it unless they plan to monitor attendees the entire time they're at each resort. Otherwise, it would be pretty easy for someone with bad intentions to see this event as an opportunity to bypass security.

I agree. If you go making exceptions here and there, it makes the rest of the security system seem worthless.

I just posted this same question/concern in another thread. Came here to see if anyone had any insight.
I too thought that maybe, with a Plaid in attendance, they can bypass it every time.
Someone with bad intentions would have a hard time using it as an opportunity to bypass security. Only those with the lanyard would be allowed through with the Plaid so they'd have to be part of the group in the first place. It's not like this person could get to MK or anything unscreened, this group doesn't stop there
