Hi,
Thought I'd share my experiences!
Highs
My eldest son loved star tours, we rode it twice (although it gave me motion sickness both times).
My youngest son loved the buzz lightyear ride (he rode that twice).
The people at the ticket booths were great, we had free sky tickets and were worried about how it would work? We needn't have worried.
Big thunder mountain was great, we had fast past tickets for it so it worked out really well
Lows
The drive to there was a bit of a nightmare... We were staying at a campsite an hour and a half away. The French drivers drove really close to us before overtaking
It was really hot!!! 37 degrees at one point, I don't cope well in the heat and my two boys (6 and 4) were getting drained quickly.
We saw Chip n' dale who ushered over for a photo, before I had a chance to take the shot about 15 people (with one family bundled my boys out of the way). The person with the characters shooed them away so I finally got a snap.
Queue jumping... Saw this on a couple of occasions, it was teenage boys doing it. I didn't bother saying anything as It would have fell on deaf ears.
The queue times were MASSIVE!!! I just couldn't believe how busy it was?
We began queueing for a table at the blue lagoon restaraunt as we were told we couldn't book. Two other families walked straight to the front, spoke to the "kid" on the front podium taking names and walked straight in. A few people mumbled in the queue, I just gave up and walked off
Were going back in April and staying for 4 days, hopefully it won't be as busy or hot! (I have opened another thread asking for tips as don't think I went as well prepared as I should have!).
