Hey guys! Just wanted to share my quick trip report of DL from yesterday (12/15) with my hunny!
We arrived at DL around 8:12am, just shortly after the park opened. I got to park in Chip N' Dale and was so happy!! The weather was a bit gloomy and foggy and the mist from the fog made my hair look really wacky and crazy!
The park wasn't crowded at all. I was really happy because if it were crowded I knew my boyfriend would become a grouch-a-saurus!
As we walk down main street, I snap a few pics:
-I love this Snowman! I have a love for Snowmen & Gingerbreadmen!-
We decided to fast pass space mountain first because we were hungry and wanted to grab some breakfast. The standby wait time for space was only 5 minutes but we still fast passed anyway. We passed by Buzz and saw there was no line, so we decided to ride it real quick. We each got our own car because he has a tendency to spin while I'm shooting and vice-versa. He used two guns and I used one and I finally beat him!! I think total he had a score of around 12,000 but my score was 87,200.
I always get my mickey shaped pancake so we headed to River Belle Terrace. My boyfriend ordered the Mark Twain and I got the Steamboat and substituted the panckes for mickey pancakes.
After our meal we rode Pirates. The wait time was less than 5 minutes! Here are some pics:
-Captain Jack Sparrow hiding in a barrel
When we exited Pirates we fast passed Indiana Jones and then headed over to ride Space Mountain. We saw the pic of us on the ride and the guy in front of my bf was really tall and we could only see half of my boyfriend's head in the photo!
We stopped over in the arcade and let me tell you....I have a new addiction to Mariokart! I have always loved Mario games and I love Mariokart! Best of all when you choose a character, they have a camera that takes your photo so you look like them.
I got 2nd place with Luigi and my boyfriend got 1st with Yoshi. Phooey!
I wanted my boyfriend to see the Jedi Training Academy since he likes Star Wars. I had not seen the show either so it was a first for both of us. This show is so cute and we both enjoyed it! Here are some pics:
-Storm Trooper: Hey, wanna grab a bite to eat? I heard they have good burgers here.
-It looks like Darth Vader is posing for a photo!
-Choose! Join the Dark Side! Mwahahahahah!
-Darth Maul rocks!
Our next stop was the Golden Horseshoe. I have been suffering from Billy Hill & the Hillbillies withdrawl and just had to catch their show! I've missed their show the past 3 times I've been to the park (it was just too crowded), and this time it wasn't busy. We found a table in the middle of the room. The "head" Billy is my favorite! He reminds me of a cross between Gilbert Godfrey and French Stewart!
Here's some pics from the show:

Last week I made reservations for us to dine at Blue Bayou. I loved their prime rib! My boyfriend got the monte cristo sandwich. I really liked their salad..I think it's because it had blue cheese crumbles on it. They also had really good blue bayou potatoes (au grautin). Our server's name was Paul and he was so polite and fast. He brought us refills on our sodas without us having to ask him.
We both kept our menus as a souvenier. I definitely want to frame it.
I wanted to check out the Disney Art Gallery in New Orleans Square. I took a picture of this miniature version of DL. It's a bug's eye view
