Friday 11-5-04..... Magic Kingdom Day! We all know that it is not a WDW vacation until you walk up Main Street and see the castle for the first time. Well this morning we had a PS at Crystal Palace for 8:15am. This breakfast was not so much about the characters as it was being on Main street with few other guest around. At 8:00 we were let in the entrance to the far right for those with early PS. Main street was not empty by any means, but we were able to get some good photos. While waiting on the porch at Crystal Palace for our names to be called, I met my first fellow Diser on the trip. They were also waiting to be called for breakfast. I had my backpack decked out with lime green ribbon and Mickey heads, so others might notice. ILovePooh, it was nice to chat with you. We did pass this couple later that day in the park. The breakfast was good but rather hectic. (as expected). I did get one photo with Tigger, but the rest of the characters we just waved by. With so many children to greet, we thought it was best.

At two minutes before 9:00 we were at the rope for Frontierland. It was so nice to be ahead of the crowd. Well worth the price of breakfast at the CP. Once inside, we did Splash twice, then Big Thunder twice, then back to Splash with a FP. Did all of Adventureland and then onto Fantasyland. Well you can imagine how crowded Fantasyland was by this time, but we stayed anyway. We rode Snow White for the first time in 10 years. I had forgotten what a neat ride-through story book this is. I even got DH to ride Pooh. We tried to do Peter Pan, but the wait was 45min, so we passed it by and got FP for Mickey's Phil. It is amazing how much just two adults can accomplish in a short time at the parks.

It was time for a break. We stopped in at Pinoccio's restaurant and shared a turkey sandwich. I had read on these board about a balcony off the second floor seating area that overlooked Fantasyland. It took a little while to find it, but we did. There were only four tables on the balcony with one being occupied by another couple. What a relaxing place to take a break. The view was very nice. Thank you to the fellow Diser who mentioned this in their trip report. After the break we used our FP for Mickey's Phil.

Magic Kingdom was very crowded by this time, so we decided to return to the room for a short rest. We had a PS for Fulton's at 5:00. Since the short rest went longer than expected, we did not get on the bus for DTD until 4:15. Needless to say, we were late for our Fultons PS. They were happy to seat us anyway after a 20 minute wait in the bar. I must say this was the very best meal of our trip (and the most expensive). The food and service was impeccable. Thank you to our wonderful waiter, Jamal. He couldn't have been any better. We did leave a comment at the check-in desk at Fultons about our great waiter. The entire meal with tip came to $140.00. I would do it again in a heart beat. I had read some bad reviews about Fulton's on these boards. I am so very glad we tried it anyway. There was one scary moment in the restaurant when a waiter dropped a large tray of food while on the stairs. A few empty plates came through the railing just missing some guests seated below. Thank goodness no one was hurt. Also I was suprised at the number of small children here since dining can be lengthy. Our waiter did ask us right away if we had any time restrictions so he could pace our meal accordingly. So perhaps if you dine with children they hurry it along.

The rest of the evening was spend at Adventures Club at Pleasure Island. Since all previous trips included children, this was DH and my first visit to PI. I knew about the new "open to all" policy, but still was suprised at the number of strollers and small children that were there. The AC didn't open until about 8:30 due to a private party. Once inside we quickly learned what the club was all about. We had a wonderful time. At the first two Library shows, there was a couple with two preteen girls seated right up front. It was very important to mom that the girls were able to see and participate. It was obvious that the actors were aware of them and were trying to keep the interaction clean. During audiance participation, the actors would warn us about children being present before allowing us to respond. I felt that it did distract from my adult fun at PI. None the less, we had a great time and will definately be returning to AC again. On our way out we tried to get into the Comedy Warehouse. However the line was long, so we past it by.

It was after 12:30 when we returned to the room. We had a wonderful and fulfilling day. Tomorrow is EE MGM. Will we be up in time???

thanks so much for your great review of Fultons too......I have not been there yet and most was because of others remarks....this may sway us a little now......thanks again
