High School Musical In Park Quest Updated info SPOILERS

just bumping this thread to see if anybody has new info yet.

Updated High School Musical Quest information current as of 5-24-2006

DLR has High School Musical stuff EVERYWHERE in the stores. You can buy the DVD, CD, and all sorts of other "stuff" related to the movie.

The quest is 10 questions. 5 that pertain to the movie. 5 that are in park questions. They have the questions and answers at the VMK Kiosk. They have the cards locked up and are ready to go with the quest.

There is a "glitch" in the game that has to do with the quest. The quest will be launched when this is fixed.

Cast members at the park were told the quest would be released on Tuesday, May 23rd. On Monday, they were told Wednesday or Thursday. As of Wednesday, they did not know when it will launch. They are waiting for the on-line "glitch" to be fixed (which, if you do not know - is handled by Sulake, not Disney).

Probably in a week or so on the Disney Channel. They play it every couple of weeks.

Update - I was in WDW MK VMK Central Today - no sign of when it was released. Staff has the cards, just waiting final word on when to release it. Alot of people were in there asking about it.

I did hear that two girls did get quest cards yesterday - no idea how they received the quest paper, but my friend stated they flew out after they had the cards in hand.

I was at MK today - still no HSM quest, they don't have copies of it nor the cards, and they don't know when it'll be available.

That's referring to LAST Tuesday, when the DVD was released.

The newsletter hasn't been updated since then.

Not the newsletter. I was referring to on the homepage where it says (and I quote) "Coming Tuesday! High School Musical is coming to the parks and VMK. Check out our plans and be part of the action!"

I still think that meant LAST tuesday, because that blurb hasn't been updated since before then ... right? Or did they only recently put "Coming Tuesday" up there?

Yes, it has been updated; at least I think it has. This is definitely different from what it said yesterday from what I remember. Ah, well. We shall see what happens this week then. Hopefully they fixed the bugs so people who are going to the park soon can do the quest.

When I was at the park on Monday, I was told that if the "in game" part is not able to be downloaded from the vmk web site, the quest has not been started yet.

At DLR, they have everything - it is under lock and key until given told that the quest has begun. They do have it, just not able to give or show anything.

Just in any event, if someone could get a extra set for me, when it comes out, that would be great, or just the cards when they come out.

Figures that this quest would come out when I just get home from DL haha. Even asked a CM at the VMK booth, and he said, "When it's out, it'll be out". Grumble, should've checked the website in Innoventions.

Anyhow, will have a better clue what the answers are when I turn in the quest card in a day or two.
