HIFS any recent reviews?

almost on our way with our green ribbons!... Can anyone report on a recent stay there? Havent been there since before the miniature golf course was built.. cant wait Nana and Papa, Son and Daughter in Law and three little rugrats... I remember the breakfast was super.. just wondering if its still a pretty good place or has gone down any? Thanks gang! See ya SOOOOOON.

We just got back fro HIFS. It was our first trip, and we would definitely return. It was a great resort for kids...they loved the large pool, golf, hair wraps by the pool and it was nice for them to have their own tv. The rooms was large enough for us all to have a little privacy, and the sink/microwave/fridge came in handy. We all enjoyed the breakfast, but did not try the dinner. We we very pleased with the staff, and housekeeping was very courteous & prompt. We had a room facing the pool and we did not hear any noise from the pool.

If you plan to book, pm me and I will send you a coupon for a free pizza party from the Pizza Hut on site. I rec'd one of these coupons from someone on these boards, and it was a nice treat!

Just returned from HIFS stay yesterday.

It is a very child friendly place. It is a good place to stay if you get a chance to take advantage of the many things they have to offer.

The pool was terrific. It was very difficult to get our kids to come out of it. There is a nice play area, mini-putt, table tennis, shuffle board. We brought our lunch out to eat in the pool area one day.
The clown who does the face painting does an amazing job. There was another clown who was making balloon animals and things.

Breakfast was good but would have passed on the dinner buffet if we didn't have vouchers for it. You can order off a menu for dinner.

All of the staff were very friendly, helpful, courteous.

And you can't beat the proximity to WDW. Very close.

For our family of 4, it was good.
That being said though, if you aren't going to need or use any of their many facilities and activities then, you might find something a little less expensive to stay.

We were there in Sept. We had a great time! We are hoping to return next year!!! We really enjoyed the pool, the breakfast and the nightime entertainment!!!

We loved the place. My kids especially liked the night activities.
They have a magic show from 7-8pm, bingo from 8-9pm and karoke from 9-11pm every night. My kids loved doing karoke.
the pools were great too.
