Hiding your OWN mickeys

There was ALOT of Mickey dust on my table at Crystal Palace last november.
I scooped a bunch up and dropped it in the bottom of my purse, knowing that until it is gone, I will be leaving "hidden mickeys" anywhere I take things out of my purse! It has been fun finding them laying around the house, and helps to bring back the magic and memories of the trip!

We have a hidden Mickey in our Kitchen. When we painted the kitchen we did a "white wash" to it. So amongst the white wash swirls, we "swirled" in a hidden mickey. It is cool, especially when new guests come over and we tell them to look for it. We are going to be building a new house soon and plan on doing the same thing there!

I am thinking about doing the same thing. I am making my spare room a den, and I am going to decorate it with hidden mickeys. I love looking for hidden mickeys! I will go on rides that i wouldn't care to go on, just to look for hidden mickeys. I am not a big pooh fan, but I go on the ride just to take a picture of the hidden mickey in rabbit's garden, and the pictures of Mr. Toad. I have the hidden mickey book, but some of the mickeys have changed. I am going to take a 3x5 index card spiral book and put in facts about each ride, and what hidden mickeys are in each attraction. I can't way to decorate my house with hidden mickeys, I am thinking of what knick knacks can me made into mouse ears.

2 years ago I went to WDW for the first time and was so excited about the trip. I am a teacher (I taught 8 year olds at the time) and had told my classroom assistant about hidden Mickeys. She had all the kids in my class cut out a Mickey shape and got them all to hide them around the school. They had great fun for weeks whilst I had to find them!! It became a bit of a competition as to whose I would find last!!
