Hidden Mickeys

Hidden Mickeys is one of my family and I's favorites things to do. My dad says that 50% of his fun from disney is from hidden mickeys. We love finding them they can be challenging, easy, and creative. For example there is one thats at the Animal Kingdom Lodge In the back near the savannah. We were totally stumped and finally found after about an hour. And were surprised that we didn't see it before. And don't feel like your the only ones who are doing it because you usually see a lot of other people trying to find them as well. If you want to find hidden mickeys there's usually a book thats called "Hidden Mickeys". You can almost find them in all of the gift shops that you go into. If anyone wants to share there experiences with hidden mickeys just pist a reply

I bought my Dh the Hidden Mickey's book for an anniversary present for our 1st (it's paper for the 1st anniversary) and we had lots of fun finding the less obvious ones. Our favorite is the one in SSE with paint cans, and we like the jars in el rio de tiempo too!

Our family loves hidden mickeys so much, we keep looking for them in the "regular world". It is amazing to see how often they appear in everyday places. We found one on the pencil sharpener in my sister's classroom yesterday

Does anyone happen to know if there is a difference between the first edition and the second edition? DH and I have the first, but was wondering if the second had different Hidden Mickeys.

Finding HMs (and Donalds & Minnies & Baloos & ...) is one of my favorite things as well! The 2nd Edition of Barrett's book has quite a few more HMs than the first. Some do get "lost" over time and new ones definitely get added. I was skeptical of puchasing the 2nd one b/c I was not sure it would be worth it - but it definitely was! I will bet that there will be a 3rd Edition sometime in the next couple years & I will be sure to get it as well!
