We are 21 days from our trip to DL and the kids are so excited. I told them how to find hidden Mickeys in everyday things and they are looking everywhere. It is so cute. They find them in the tiles and stone in our showers, on the faux painting on our walls, shadows on the ground, leaves on tress, clouds in the sky, and so on.
They are having a lot of fun and we all just can't wait to go!!!!

It's always so exciting when the kids get the Disney Spirit. My 5 year old still has it, and asks me almost daily when we are going back. Not 'til Feb, right now, although I have a few ideas up my sleeve.

Have fun waiting!

Our family always looks for hidden Mickey's. LOL No matter where we are we always seem to find at least one. :) My favorite was one night I was making dinner, we were having red and yellow bell peppers and I was slicing them as rings, I cut the ends off the peppers and they both looked like Mickey heads! LOL I proudly shared my hidden Mickey's with the family, then DBF ate them. LOL

I'm glad your family is getting into it! Finding Mickey's is a lot of fun, remember to keep looking when you are in the parks, there are hidden Mickey's everywhere. :)

My son sees them too, it's cute.

Right now I can think of one BIG hidden mickey that people don't really know about, and one hidden mickey that might have been on purpose, but I doubt it's official.

If you're staying on Katella and walk up Disneyland Drive past Paradise Pier, you are walking on half of a huge hidden mickey. As you walk under the palm trees and amongst the Birds of Paradise flowers (assuming they keep those plants year round), you notice the sidewalk curving strangely. Well one day I pulled up google, got an aerial view of the road, and omg! A mickey head. :goodvibes

The other is a paint drip under a lightpole. It's a lightpole on Harbor after you cross Manchester from HoJo.

I havent seen lots of hidden mickeys because i havent really looked for them. But this year I will!!

DH & I are going to Disneyland for our anniversary (without our kids for once!) in a few weeks and I'm so excited! Instead of going on kids rides we can look for Hidden Mickeys!

I love finding Hidden Mickeys, especially when I am not even looking. A few years ago I got us a very early seat for F! while the rest of our group went on more rides. I looked across ROA at the rocks right in front, and to my surprise, 1 large rock with 2 smaller rocks above it in the shape of Mickey!! I was so excited, I took a picture and showed the rest of the group when they got back.

There's also a hidden Mickey in The Empire Strikes Back right before Luke and Vader go out on the ledge where Luke gets his hand cut off.

Oh that's too funny! My son just got into a kick of watching our laser discs of the first three, er, second three episodes? eh whatever. Anyway, he's been watching them and so I'm going to have to look for that. :rotfl2:

It's in the background on the wall. You may have to watch it frame by frame, but suddenly, you'll see one big circle with two little ones right on top of it.
