Hi everyone!

I used to spend ALL of my DIS time here on the Resorts board, but then I got busy planning the cruise we were just on, a Royal Caribbean cruise, so I haven't been here on the Resorts board in a VERY long time.

I really like the new color theme! :)

Anyway, DH and I LOVED cruising and are now planning a DISNEY cruise (wooo hoooo!!) for next summer. My DSs will be 16 and 13 next summer and from what I've read, Disney has excellent teen programs on their ships.

I want to add on a couple of nights at WDW too. My first instinct was to book the CBR since we love it so much, but then I thought I'd come here and see what's new with the other WDW resorts before deciding.

I think I've heard that Pop Century is finally opening?? Is StormAlong Bay finally all finished with the refurb?? Anything new at any of the other resorts?? Can anyone fill me in, briefly, on what's going on or what's new with each of the different resorts?? Thanks so much!!!!! :teeth:

I am not sure about any of your other questions, but PC is opening on Dec. 14 or 15. We have ressies for January 16-19. I will post a review when we get home!!

Yeaaaa, this was my 100th post!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce:

Hey!!!! It's so great to see you back!!! I was thinking of emailing you to see where you were! How was RC???? We are thinking of a seven night trip on the voyager. We live about 15 minutes from the port in FT Laude and about half an hour from Miami.

How were the rooms? Service? Food? Excursions?

In know you really love CBR, but with your kids' ages, I think you really should try CSR. The pool slide is really long and twisty and the whole resort has a more"grown-up" feel. Still lots of color and the Cabanas have that tropical feel with the beach hammocks and all. We really LOVED the Pepper market and the pool bar has food, so you dont' have to go to the food court for food, if you are at the pool.

We have been buy planning our Thanskgiving trip. We are staying 5 nights at the WL woods view. Our last day is our son's b-day, so we are doing MVMCP that night.

 Hi, SeaSpray - welcome back from a fellow New Englander.
I would suggest an Epcot resort. It is an awesome location with teens - easy access to the Boardwalk, to all the Epcot resorts with its retaurants, to Epcot and MGM. You can rent water mice, surreybikes at the BW and the fun evening activities on the BW. Each has terrific pools, too. We have stayed at BWI and Dolphin with our teen DSs and they loved the location. When they were younger, we stayed at the MK resorts on the monorail.

Hi! We loved our RC cruise a few years ago and I would LOVE to do the Disney cruise one day soon. Anyway, we have seasonal passes so we are doing lots of Disney this next year. Did CR early June and LOVED it there, the easy access to MK and the large rooms(daybed is great with 2 kids) make it wonderful. Kids enjoyed the Food and Fun center as much as anthing! We love WL too(and those bunkbeds), don't think anything is different there. Will be trying CBR on an adults only trip and the whole family will spend Thanksgiving at AKL:D . Have stayed at POR and CSR and love those also. We have never found a resort we did not love. I did not think I would like the theming of CSR but it was gorgeous there! Would not hesitate to go back to a cabana, and the wet burritos are scrumptious. As you can see, our motto is to try something different each trip for the most part(have stayed at POR twice), and we have yet to be let down. I think trying a new resort makes Disney a whole new experience. So much to explore! Have fun deciding! :D
FYI-POFQ is being renovated now, not sure when it will reopen. POR was/is having some work done, but since SOG is not opening on time, some of those guest will be in there Dec-end of Feb.

Just wanted to let you know, SAB referbishment is now complete! Was there last wknd;)
