Hi everyone - just joined!

We booked to go to the HI Sunspree October 2004 but I now keep reading bad reports about it. I have a DH and a DD (8). Should we change to All Star Movies? We can't book for HIFS (long story!) without paying another 500 pounds so that's out. Any other ideas? We're tied into a UK package deal so can't really get special offers by booking direct. To change or not to change, that is the question! Any other ideas?:hyper:

I would definately change. There is nothing like staying on site!
And it's easy to go off site to visit other attractions if you like!

We stayed at the Sunspree last March and thought it was great. The rooms are clean, the staff is great, lots of stuff for kids to do and lots of kids around for your kids to play with. We booked their sister hotel this year HI Family Suites because this hotel is newer and bigger with a nicer pool and bonus free breakfast. A friend of our who is a travel agent stayed there a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. We got the room for 102 US/nt in Dec. Seperate rooms for kids and adults lots of bonuses. Pizza hut and A W on site.

You can't go wrong staying at a Disney resort. I'd go for the All-stars in a heart beat.

we stayed at Hi sunspree 2001, I hear its had abit of a revamp since then, We thought it was dirty, in poor state of affair and the staff werent the best either. As for the Rep we never saw her!!!.

Def stay onsite, theres nothing like it, although the All star movies have the smallest rooms for an onsite property,if its space youre after HIS would be bigger.
