Hi-Speed Internet Anywhere?

Can someone tell me which, if any, of the resorts have hi-speed internet access in the rooms, either plug-in or wireless? We rarely shutdown our on-line businesses when we go on vacation, so this is a must for us. It's amazing how many vacation places don't offer that. I guess they think no one works on vacation.....hmmmmm, I'm probably in the minority here, huh?

At this point since they have added more resorts with high speed it would be easier if you would tell us where you plan on staying. Then we can tell you if high speed is offered.

Cost is either per hour or there is a daily rate. There is also a charge for wi fi for those resorts that offer it.

I did a search on "hi-speed internet" on Disney's resort page and found all these have hi-speed internet access:

Dolphin
Grand Floridian
Coronado Springs
Boardwalk Inn & Villas
Contemporary
Beach Club Resort & Villas
Yacht Club
Old Key West

OKW said "add'l fee applies", and S&D said the same on one page, but not another. I'd ask at booking to be sure before you book any of 'em. Good luck!

That list is outdated since CBR and POR have it now also.

By the way, it wasn't a "list" it returned 33 links for resorts that had internet access whereby I scrolled down under 'hotel amenities' to see which had internet access. Was trying to help! I'll go back to my own vacation planning.....

Thanks for the help. I hesitated in posting a list because it became outdated. It was easier several months ago to state which ones had high speed.

Yes, all of the lists or links you will find right now are outdated, as they are in the midst of adding high speed internet access to all the resorts. (well, I think all, perhaps not the value resorts...?) The Polynesian definitely has access now. Where will you be staying?

Remember, you can always use dialup anywhere too. LOL

And don't forget that they charge for access - I think I read somewhere that it is 9.95 for 24 hours

Hi-speed internet is 9.95 for 24 hour contiguous or $4.95/hour. Same rates for wireless internet access. The wireless is usually accessible in the lobby areas.

You must have a credit card/debit card on file before you can use the internet access, then the charges are billed directly to your room.

I know for a fact that BC/YC, POFQ, POR, CSR, S/D, CR, Hilton at DTD all have high-speed internet. These are the resorts we've stayed in where we've hooked up internet.
