Our Family (me, wife and proud mama 29)dh 30, dd Samantha(will three when we arrive, celabrating4th b-day) ds Lorenzo 18months when we arrive.

I am trying to plan out our meals for each day we are at the world and my head is starting to spin!! We will be using Q and C Vouchers for most of our dinning. My dd doesn't hardly eat at all, so she will be spliting her meals with little brother. My question is this. Has anyone use the vouchers at Cosmic Rays in the Magic Kindom? what did you order? Can we order the Family meal with one voucher?

I have a whole year to plan out everything but I just feel like I this needs to be on top of my list (already book rooms at the All stars MOVIES for Dec 6th thru the 13th 2004!)

Any advice would be great. I have read all the Q and C Vouchers threads here recently posted. They did help a lot, but I just want to make sure I am getting a great deal!! Dh and I will be sharing most of our meals, if not all of them!!

TIA

Hello Sabrina and welcome to the Dis! I have never used vouchers, but we have stayed at ASMovies and you will like it there! Have fun planning for your trip!:sunny:

We love ASMo as well. The food court has great choices for picky eaters....kid's meals and ala carte. We used a Q & C at Cosmic Rays and only saved a couple of dollars. We got sandwich, soup as the side, a large pop and ice cream sandwich (the soup and ice cream were the best part). We thought it was an okay place, not that great. We got the chicken meal without the voucher another time and split that 3 ways. The voucher was not good for the family meal. We bought DD a kid's meal for $3.49 or whatever, it was mini corn dogs. They have a soup and sandwich combo (can't be used w/ an extra soup as the side.

Thanks for all the info. I figure the Q and C Vouchers couldn't be used for the family meal, but just thought I would ask. Thanks again.

Sabrina

Welcome the the Dis tikilyn! You really need to try to hit Pepper Market atleast one time with your vouchers. They are a great deal there. You can order a steak that comes with 2 sides (that is $17 alone) then when you add in drink and dessert a very good deal. They also have fajita's, rotissiere chicken etc. We ate there our last trip and enjoyed it. I also have a 3 yr old (4 in Feb) and a 18 month old. One good deal just about everywhere with th vouchers is toorder the double cheeseburger and then order an extra bun--then you get 2 hamburger and share the drink drink, fries and dessert which works out wonderful with little ones who dont eat that much. Also get an adult Vacation kingdom lunch voucher and 1 child (normally they let you order off the adult meanu for child --Not always but usually) at the RFC at AK. You will have more than enough food for the 4 of you and you cna get the volcano for dessert--they are very yummy. Kids will love the atmosphere there also and it can be one place you can eat something besides burgers, lol.

As for Cosmic Rays..

we got a great deal!

I ordered a chicken ceasar salad, a soup for a side, a large drink and a brownie!

Hubby got a stacked sandwich, soup, briownie and drink

Kids got cheesesteak, brownie, soup and drink as well.

The total for all that was $42.00, but with three vouchers only 33 dollars!

DH and I have found that we can often split the vouchers and be very happy. At Cosmic Ray's we ordered the 1/2 chicken and visited the toppings bar for sauted mushrooms and cheese sauce. Don't forget Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club--we usually split the prime rib sandwich. Pepper Market is great, and we find splitting Lunch Vouchers is fine for us too (Le Cellier and AK RFC) At Rosies American Grill in MGM we order the double cheese burger, a salad (the burger usually comes with fries, even tho you order a different side) and apple crisp. I usually ask for the largest soda they can give me and on the last trip, I was always given large sodas.

Happy planning!
