I am sure everyone will be happy to share information with you, but we need more info. What are your desires in a resort. Kids or no kids, etc. theming, ever been or first trip? All of this will help in offering you information:thumbsup2

hi, thanks for getting back to me.
I'm not sure what resort I need to be in.
I have a 4yr old boy and this is his first time.
my husband and I have been a few times now.
we are meeting my son and his family and he has a
two year old also.
I know Mickey must be seen by both of them.
I don't think park hoppers is necessary.
Kids to young to be confusing them.

Although we have never stayed there, I have read that the Beach Club has a very interesting pool for little ones if the pool is a concern. We are WL lovers ourselves. Most on here will recommend one of the MK Resorts being on the monorail for sheer convenience of getting back to your room for nap time without using buses and you may find this a big plus in your situation. For a little less money you can stay at WL and take a boat or bus to the MK. From the resorts on the monorail you can usually get a view of the MK, which is a highlight for many:thumbsup2 As far as meeting the "Traditional Mickey" I would check at either the MK or Ep guest relations as to times where the characters will make appearances so you can be sure to be in the area. No matter where you choose to stay I expect it will be magical, but you need to find out what will be the most convenient for your group and the little ones:thumbsup2

About the resort, it depends on what you can afford to spend. If you're looking at the value resorts, we love the All Star Movies. I have 3 boys and they love the Toy Story buildings-they have huge Buzz and Woody buildings as well as Mighty Ducks, Fantasia, Dalmations, and Love Bug. I have friends that love Port Orleans French Quarter and Caribbean Beach for moderate, and the Polynesian is by far our favorite Deluxe (very pretty and the monorail runs through it).

As far as seeing Mickey, he's in every park-you just have to get a times guide and see where and what time. Also, we love the character meals because you don't have to stand in long lines to see the characters-they come right up to your table while you enjoy a meal. :thumbsup2

:welcome: I'm sure you'll have fun here! I'm leaving in a few weeks. I let that pirate: know to look out for you in January!
