Ok me next.
I found the Dis about 18 months ago when I was researching for our 'once in a lifetime trip' May 2001. I mostly hung out on the UK Boards and the Theme Parks/Restaurants etc boards, but one day just before we left for Orlando I wandered into the Scrapbooking board and never looked back. I took a look at a couple of albums people had posted and was amazed - I remember saying to my DH, I think I've found a new hobby that looks interesting. DH just nodded, 2 weeks of great enthusiasm and then I'd be bored with it...
Well, 1 year later I am totally hooked. I've done 1 Disney album, 1 wedding album for my brother, a birthday album for my dad and countless pages in my dd's album. And let's not mention the ££ spent on supplies!
Oh, I forgot all that who am I stuff?
Bev (33), married to Phil (40 in September!), one darling dd age 4 1/2 who is going to school in September - I can't believe she has grown up so fast.
We live in the North East of England but I spent 12 years in the States (1979 - 1991) in Omaha, Pittsburgh, Bethlehem (Lehigh University), Minnesota and New Jersey - It was a hectic decade!
I work full time as a computer programmer (when I'm not reading the Dis), and we have just moved into a new house which needs tons of work, so I am rapidly becoming a part-time kitchen / bathroom designer and getting to know far more abour rewiring than I ever wanted to know.
I'm also not very good at short posts!
