Welcome to the DIS. Be careful. It is addicting.

We used to go the last week of October/ first week of November until the kids got too old to take out of school. The weather is great then and we could always do the water parks. We were just there in April and even when it was still cool in the morning, the water parks were ok because they actually heat the water in them.

We also stayed at Port Orleans when it was Dixie Landings and we loved that resort. Don't remember romantic, we had a 10 year old and 8 year old with us. LOL

Can't answer the cruise question. We've never done that.

Have fun.

Welcome to the DIS!:wave2:

Welcome to the DIS!!! Beware, once your on...you're hooked!! You will receive a TON of GREAT information here and everyone here is wonderful!! I have been on these boards for a while now and NEVER have incountered a bad feedback.
There are no dumb questions here on the DIS...So ask away.

OH ya,...November is a GREAT time to go. Terrific weather, low crowds and prices are priced at "off season" prices.

We have been to Orlando in the summer, spring, falls, and winter.

Our November trip a couple years ago had the most awesome weather.

Warm, dry, sunny.

Have fun.,

I love early November, its my favorite time to be at the World. Plus, if you go then, you have the Food and Wine festival at Epcot to enjoy. :sunny:

Welcome Redhed, Our favorite time to go is Nov. The temps are perfect and we ususally get one day hot enough for a water park. There are several special events in Nov. The Super Soap Weekend is usually the 1st weekend at MGM. Also around the 9th-10th many schools have a fall break and the parks will be busy. Sometimes it is called "Jersy Week" although many more schools are off too. The very best times are the week before the week of Thansgiving and the week following Thanksgiving. Picture perfect weather and WALK on Rides!!!!!!! ::yes:: If possible aim for one of those times. Enjoy the planning, it is half the fun.:D
