Well I thought I would finish off my TR with our highs and lows on this trip.
Today I asked Rod,McAuley and Jacob their best bits and their worst bits and here are the results......

Rodney

Highs
The end of the toothache and being able to eat his delicious Simbas Steak in Cafe Mickey
Seeing Jacob getting to speak to his hero Stitch
The gorgeous restaurants that we ate in
Getting to see real life Buffalo in Buffalo Bills


Lows
The toothache
Too much rich food and too much choice at the buffets
The price of everything

McAuley

Highs
All the thrill rides SM, TOT, RnRC, BTM and Crushes Coaster
Meeting everyone and going on IASW......ahhhhh
Buffalo Bills
An unexpected Cafe Mickey dinner

Lows
Not getting on Dumbo .............Thats it

Jacob

Highs
Going on BTM lots of times
Speaking to Stitch
Metting Sulley and Stitch
The snow ......the wee soul has never seen so much snow
Buffalo Bills
Dinner in Cafe Mickeys

Lows
Not getting on Dumbo
The Cars ride was too short
The Flying Carpets ride was too short

Tracy

Highs
Seeing that the above three boys really had no lows at all
Meeting Emma and Steve at IASW
The H/B premuim vouchers.....super value for money

I have to put in a paragraph about these as I hope it will help eveyone else.....For 2 adults and 2 children we paid £84 for the vouchers
We ate in
Cafe Mickey the bill came to E128.70 and with the H/B premuim we had to pay an extra E10.70

Buffalos Bills ...1 voucher 2nd seating area which was grand...to pay at the door E196 saving us E112 approx

Inventions...1 voucher =Buffet+a soft drink....to pay at the door E170 saving us E86 approx

If you want to eat in the top end restaurants get yourselves these vouchers before you leave it was the best thing we did

Not getting to meet Captain Jack Sparrow
POTC closed I have never managed to do this ride
Missing Candleabration the whole time we were there

another quick paragraph here to help with your trip planning

it is very expensive

The Cheyenne....2 large beers and 2 apple juice =E18
King Ludwigs.....2 large beers,i apple juice and a sprite=E21.95
DLH......2 large beers,1 apple juice and a sprite = E24.95
Hakuna Matata...3 chips and 2 drinks = E12.95
Toad Hall....3 menu 1 consisting of Tomato Soup/Fish and Chips and a drink=E29.85
Studio Catering...2 coffees and 2 Mickey Brioche= E11.85

Why am I the one with the longest list of lows? But you know what folks I really don't mind not getting what I wanted as long as my boys were happy and you can see by their lists that they were very happy bunnies

I have really enjoyed wriiting this TR when I look back to the one I wrote in January 2007 I hang my head in shame how rubbish it was

Sounds like you all enjoyed it very much. I had very similar lows as you for last week, Fantillusion, Casey Jnr, Storybook boats all being closed.

And I totally agree with Jacob that the Cars ride is definitely far too short.

Loved your trippie Tracy, and so nice to see how much the boys enjoyed themselves.
The price of drinks in the DLH did make me gulp. I remember sitting in Cafe Fantasia in October sipping a cocktail at 14 euros and I shudder to think how much it would be in £s now. Since it's DH's birthday trip I can't make too much fuss if he wants to do it again but it definitely won't be an nightly event!

The really positive thing about the whole trip is that before we went we thought things at home were expensive.

On our first night back we had an Indian takeaway for a measley £17......How cheap we thought

And after spending nearly £8 on a pint of Kronenberg our usual tipple of Staropramen is a snip at £1.60 a bottle

I have just caught up on your trip report. I'm glad you and your boys had a great time despite the weather. The snow was still there when we arrived on the 10th, but had nearly all gone by the time we were leaving on the 13th. I love your photos - especially the Sulley one. I would agree with you about the price of everything.
